Denver: Work in a cool French cafe!

Denver: Work in a cool French cafe!

Katherine’s French Bakery and Cafe is looking for entry-level kitchen help — and this is no ordinary kitchen.

Katherine Keeley and her husband, Mario Arrua, own the restaurant and bakery, located at 728 S. University Blvd., Denver. Ms. Keeley is a formally trained pastry chef who has worked in France. Mr. Arrua is an executive chef who is originally from Argentina. They welcome internationally minded young people, who want to learn more about how to run a restaurant, how to be part of a team and how to build healthy communities through good food and social interaction.

Jobs may entail dishwashing, bussing tables, seating guests. However, there will also be plenty of opportunities to learn about cooking from Ms. Keeley and Mr. Arrua.

There are part-time and full-time jobs available throughout the school year and during holiday and summer breaks. It will be important for young people who speak with Ms. Keeley to explain when they’re available to work and also to demonstrate that they know how to serve customers with a smile. The restaurant is open every day, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. — so if you have an hour or two after school or time during the weekend, this could be a great job for you.

Call Ms. Keeley at 303-695-5000, or e-mail her at
